Implement Draft & Ballast Matcher
Simulate draft resistance, drawbar power transfer, and optimal axle weight distribution for Deutz-Allis 9130.
Ballast distribution and traction efficiency depend directly on chassis drive type. Please select your tractor's configuration:
Engine demand (166.9 HP) exceeds rated power (150 HP). Reduce working speed by 1.0-1.5 mph or reduce working width.
Tractor is currently light for this heavy draft tool. Add ~1225 kg (2,700 lbs) ballast to prevent tire slip and premature wear.

Deutz-Allis

Deutz-Allis was a tractor brand that emerged from the acquisition of Allis-Chalmers by Deutz AG in 1984. Allis-Chalmers, an American agricultural machinery manufacturer with a rich history dating back to the late 19th century, faced financial difficulties that led to its acquisition by the German engine manufacturer, Deutz AG. This acquisition marked a significant turning point for the brand, as Deutz rebranded Allis-Chalmers tractors as Deutz-Allis and began importing Deutz-Fahr tractors under the same name. The transition was met with mixed reactions, particularly from loyal Allis-Chalmers customers who were disappointed by the shift from the iconic orange paint scheme to green. Despite these challenges, Deutz-Allis continued to operate, leveraging Deutz's engineering expertise and global reach. In 1991, the brand was sold to AGCO, a major player in the agricultural machinery industry. AGCO rebranded the tractors as AGCO Allis and reinstated the traditional orange color, aiming to restore the brand's connection with its heritage. However, the AGCO Allis name was eventually phased out in 2001, marking the end of the Deutz-Allis legacy as a distinct brand. The history of Deutz-Allis is a testament to the dynamic nature of the agricultural machinery industry, characterized by mergers, acquisitions, and evolving brand identities.
